Key Concerns

Take a look at some of the key concern areas that we seek to address.

1 in 7 people identify themselves as Hindu. That’s over 15% of the global population or 1.2 billion people.

97% of all Hindus live in the world’s three Hindu-majority countries—India (94%), Mauritius and Nepal.

92% of Hindus are of unreached people groups.

The Christian population in India is less than 3%.

There is only 1 missionary for every 179 000 Hindus—with the global missionary focus on Hindus being 3.2%.

Hindu philosophy and worldview has spread globally through the adoption of pluralism, new age philosophies, yoga and vedic sciences.

All these factors pose new challenges for global mission.

How can we see these seemingly unreachable people become disciples for Christ?

Core Ambition

We want to see a new focus on Hindu evangelism that embraces fresh study, research and sustained engagement to be contextually effective.

‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.’

Matthew 9:37-38

Take a moment to pray that millions of Hindus would surrender their lives to Jesus Christ and become agents of transformation.

So what can we do?

Intercede for the evangelisation of Hindu people groups throughout the world.

The Rise of Hindu Fundamentalism

"...in an age of rising nationalisms, the primary requirement for the global church is more believers embodying and communicating the gospel in their neighbourhoods and places of work."
