Key Concerns

Take a look at some of the key concern areas that we seek to address.

Oppression, marginalisation and injustice are ever-increasing realities in our world today. Examples include…

There are an estimated 40.3 million victims of human trafficking around the world.

35% of women worldwide have experienced relational violence.

One effect of gender discrimination is that women aged 25-34 are 25% more likely than men to live in extreme poverty.

Racial discrimination based on ethnicity, colour or languages is the most common type of discrimination affecting millions.

Religious liberty is precarious with many countries actively practising religious persecutions.

365 million Christians (1 in 7) now experience high to extreme levels of persecution.

The church at large has sidelined its responsibility to uphold the cause of the oppressed.

How can the global church alleviate the suffering and injustices that plague our world?

Core Ambition

We want to see concern for freedom and justice as an integral part of the ‘whole’ gospel being proclaimed to the whole world.

‘Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.’

Proverbs 31:8

Consider the injustices within your community and take a moment to pray for those being oppressed and marginalised.

So what can we do?

Fight injustice. Create awareness and advocate for the poor and vulnerable in your immediate sphere of influence.
