Mutuality in Intergenerational Leadership | Lausanne Generations Series
This video is part of the Lausanne Generations Series, exploring how different generations can engage together in God’s mission through the Generational Pyramid.
What does it look like to truly lead together across generations?
In this session, we explore mutuality—the practice of giving and receiving, listening and learning, and valuing every voice at the table. Mutuality moves us beyond hierarchical leadership into shared leadership marked by trust, humility, and openness.
We also reflect on the barriers to mutuality, including pride and tokenism, and highlight the importance of vulnerability and intentional relationship-building. When mutuality is present, intergenerational teams become healthier, more creative, and more effective in God’s mission.
