Key Concerns

Take a look at some of the key concern areas that we seek to address.

Daily we are confronted with environmental problems that threaten our planet.

From global warming to food waste to plastic pollution, deforestation and soil erosion, our planet is groaning like never before.

Climate issues are a growing global reality, impacting human and non-human life.

By the year 2050 it is estimated there will be 200 million climate refugees in the world.

Climate refugees are those forced to leave their homes due to land erosion or lack of food or water.

Yet, the global church is insufficiently engaged in climate issues.

It is greatly inconsistent to say we love the Creator while we destroy his creation.

How can we see our world being cared for?

Core Ambition

We desire shalom—the wholeness of relationship with God, with ourselves, with other people, and with all of creation.

‘Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning…and we believers also groan’

Romans 8:20-23a

Take a moment to pray for the environment in which you live with lament and repentance, but also with hope in God’s full redemption.

So what can we do?

Develop a more robust creation care theology by studying the Bible with an ecological lens.
