Creative arts can play a unique and powerful role in opening people’s hearts to the gospel.
The arts can break through language and cultural barriers to speak deeply to those who experience them.
Music, drama, storytelling, painting, architecture, mime, puppets, crafts, movement, food, and more are all forms of artistic expression to facilitate worship, learning, discipling, and celebration.
Yet the church often expresses uncertainty about artists and their work.
Often there is concern about past connection to false religions and therefore syncretism.
Therefore limited room is given to developing artistic ministry for gospel-engagement, discipleship, church planting, and worship.
But world evangelization cannot adequately progress without the involvement of arts ministry practitioners and imaginative expression specialists.
How can we see artistic kingdom servants thrive?

We want to see artists catalyzed and called back to the service of the church in global mission through their creative imagination, intelligence, and artistic abilities and gifts.

Take a moment to pray for a Christian artist you know to make their artistic passions and skills available for God’s mission and glory.

Partner with influencers, Christian communities, networks, seminaries and mission organisations to develop strategic action, curriculum, and resources to adequately prepare and commission artists for culturally relevant worship, evangelism, and compassion throughout the world.
