John Plake is a researcher with a pastor’s heart. He seeks to bridge the worlds of social science, business intelligence, and spiritual formation by helping Christian leaders understand how people grow in Christ.
John serves as Chief Ministry Insights and Innovation Officer for the American Bible Society and is chief editor of the State of the Bible series. He is an ordained minister with a Ph.D. in intercultural studies and has served as pastor, missionary, professor, and researcher over more than 30 years of ministry. He lives with his family in Wilmington, Delaware.
