Byron Spradlin is founder and president of Artists in Christian Testimony Intl, a missions and ministry sending board for artists and creatives.
He is a musician, published songwriter (ASCAP & NARAS), Bible teacher, church planter, worship leader, and professor; and an international specialist on worship, imagination, and arts leadership. He regularly disciples artists and encourages pastors and missionaries concerning arts and music in ministry and missions. His heart is to see people find forgiveness and rightness with God through Jesus Christ, and grow in a companioning worship walk with Him daily as they live out a culture-changing life of service for Him in their community. His ministry experience ranges through almost 50 nations, covering topics like arts in evangelism, missions and ministry, Jewish Evangelism, church planting, worship ministry and coaching, and the theology of worship, imagination, and the arts.
The mission board he directs currently has over 600 artists and creatives doing kingdom ministries touching over 47 nations. A.C.T. Intl is also incorporated in Canada, Brazil, and Kenya. And lately he has been helping other mission agencies and churches become more friendly places for artists and other non-conventional kingdom servants.
Byron also serves as one of the three co-catalysts for the Lausanne Arts Network. He is professor of worship, imagination, and the arts at Williamson College in Franklin, Tennessee (US). He serves as vice board chair of the international Jews for Jesus mission, having previously served 35 years as board chair and as the performance coach for their first music evangelism team, The Liberated Wailing Wall. He is also a board member for the international mission agency WorldVenture based in Denver, Colorado (US).
His wife Pam and he have been married since 1974. Their two grown children are married, and they have four amazing grandchildren.
