Join the Lausanne Theology Working Group for ‘The Good News in a World of Fake News’, a three-part webinar series to promote a biblical understanding of the Christian gospel and, in particular, to distinguish between the gospel and distorted forms of the gospel now gaining ground in many parts of the world.
The three individual webinars will be:
1. Knowing the Story – 22 October 2021, 12.00 GMT (see your time zone)
Learn how to distinguish between the gospel and presentations of the gospel that depart from the central truths of the gospel, often by failing to appreciate the way in which the gospel is part of the larger story of Scripture.
2. Being Shaped by the Story – 05 November 2021, 12.00 GMT (see your time zone)
The gospel shapes our lives and ministries, conforming them to the image of a crucified Messiah. At the same time, distortions of the gospel also shape lifestyles and ministry styles in predictable and recognizable ways.
3. Telling the Story – 19 November 2021, 12.00 GMT (see your time zone)
Become equipped to tell the story of the gospel, learning how the story remains unchanged even as different contexts shape the way we go about telling the story.
