The Mission America Coalition 2015 Leadership Consultation will be held on 27-29 April in Houston, Texas, USA. During this consultation, participants will:
- Consult the mind of Christ in extended prayer.
- Hear influential leaders unpack the dynamics of a movement and dissect the state of evangelism across the United States and its culture.
- Dialog during afternoon ‘labs’ that look into the unfolding work in US cities through networks and denominations. Some afternoon sessions include ‘Neighborhood-focused ministry’ and ‘Justice evangelism’.
LOVE2020 Affinity Sphere Planning Teams will meet concurrently in the afternoon.
The Mission America Coalition (MAC) is an unprecedented coalition of Christian leaders who have prayerfully come together to mobilize the church for praying, caring, and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in deed and word. Since its inception, leaders from 81 denominations, over 350 ministries and dozens of ministry networks have been involved in the Coalition. MAC calls for active participation in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to ‘Therefore go and make disciples of all nations’ (Matt 28:19) and our Lord’s Great Commandment to ‘Love the Lord your God . . . and love your neighbor as yourself’ (Matt 22:37, 39).
