Now more than ever is the time to connect the global body of Christ for global mission, especially for prayer. Therefore the Lausanne Movement hosted a series of Lausanne Global Intercessory Prayer Calls between 18-29 May.
On 27 May at 21.00 EDT (see all time zones), the East Asia region prayed with the North America region along with David Ro, Lausanne Regional Director for East Asia, and Ed Stetzer, Lausanne Regional Director for North America. The call consisted of an update from each region, prayers, Bible readings, written liturgy, and breakout sessions for extemporary prayer.
The regional prayer calls were held in the period between Christ’s Ascension and Pentecost on the church calendar. Alongside the original apostles, we too are expectant, wondering, and fearful as we wait to see how our Lord will move and guide.
